As part of the Company’s commitment regarding social responsibility and education, it proposed to offer support and counseling to high school and university students dedicated to medico-social services and public health both for their integration and accommodation in the labor market and in the process of professional orientation.

The specialists from the UNIFARM SA National Company as well as independent experts in Human Resources, with a great professional reputation, specialized in counseling and professional guidance, will contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives assumed within the above-mentioned national project.

Through this project, the National Company UNIFARM S.A. aims to support students in the arduous process of clarifying their personal goals and aspirations, an objective carried out through various activities that can help the beneficiaries to understand their own identity, to make informed decisions, to be responsible for their own actions, to manage their career and the transition from the academic environment to the labor market. They have the opportunity to complete their knowledge bag, scientific in the field of study, contributing to the formation of cognitive skills, develop a career plan more easily, identify their interests and skills, develop their self-evaluation skills, team work, of communication, absolutely necessary in the future.

From the discussions held with several decision-making partners within the society, it emerged the need to develop inter- and multi-disciplinary policies and programs, which support and complement each other, in order to create an environment favorable to health but also to acquire key skills in higher education in the field of health.

In this sense, and taking into account that at the center of its objectives, Compania Nationala Unifarm SA has the mission of ensuring the rights of all Romanian patients from anywhere and at any time, to the best treatment solutions, at the most affordable costs and in compliance with the provisions of the Romanian Constitution, article 34, at the beginning of the academic year, a strategic academic collaboration will be started in the field of management and management of health crises, with an emphasis on the management of pharmaceutical emergencies.

The general objective of the course will focus on improving the availability of medicines, medical devices and products needed in crisis situations, but also strengthening Romania’s capacity for prevention, preparation and rapid response to serious cross-border threats to health, in accordance with the legislation in force of the Union, and improving the management of health crises.

The purpose of this course will also be to examine the multiple challenges facing today’s pharma companies – and some possible courses of action to ensure the continuity of drug production and patient safety.

The common objectives of the initiators are also aimed at identifying solutions for the problems that have arisen in the health system, as well as making proposals for legislative changes, which will lead to the improvement of patients’ access to treatment. In accordance with the mentioned objectives, in the next period, joint actions will be carried out in order to recognize the importance of public health and the access of all patients to products and services, in a non-discriminatory and unconditional way. We will also collaborate to identify and promote the best ways to implement in Romania the policies and good practices established at the level of the European Union, in the field of innovative treatments, as well as to stimulate the public debate on the topic of medical education.

The collaboration protocol signed between the two parties aims to defend the interests of patients in Romania, in compliance with the laws and regulations in force, carrying out joint actions (including public ones) to improve the way of serving the population with medicines and other necessary health products, especially in disadvantaged or hard-to-reach areas and finding correct, ethical and useful ways to allow all patients access to the treatments they need.

Collaborations between UNIFARM and various health entities facilitate communication and information sharing, contributing to the rapid identification and resolution of supply and distribution issues.

The strategic partnerships developed allow UNIFARM National Company to coordinate and optimize resources and efforts between different institutions, ensuring an efficient use of medicines and medical equipment, stimulating cooperation and innovation in the field of health to address the specific challenges and needs of the health system.

The cooperation between UNIFARM and international partners thus contributes to improving patients’ access to essential medicines and treatments, by ensuring efficient supply and distribution.

Through these strategic partnerships, UNIFARM strengthens its position in the pharmaceutical field, creating synergies and improving coordination and efficiency in the entire health sector.

The institutional partnership created aims to promote economic cooperation between the two signatory parties by organizing business meetings, economic missions and other joint actions in order to get to know the business communities of the two countries as well as possible.

Projects


In 2023, the National Pharmaceutical Center was established within the UNIFARM structures, without legal personality, created for the collection, management and donation of medicines in cases of force majeure, disasters and calamities. Through the National Pharmaceutical Center and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, all humanitarian operations for the distribution of medicines and donations for the natural disaster in Turkey and Syria were carried out and dispatched from Romania.

UNIFARM has demonstrated its commitment to social and humanitarian responsibility by being actively involved in the distribution and donation of medicines in the context of the natural disaster in Turkey and the conflict in Syria. This contribution has had a significant impact on international humanitarian assistance efforts.
